Sri Lanka is RHD. Used passenger car imports have been restricted or banned for general commercial purposes for several years (Gazette / Import Control). Limited windows (vehicle permits, concessionary permits, diplomatic, project vehicles) appear in budgets.

KMC JAPAN will not ship a Japan auction car to Colombo on speculation. If you do not hold a named permit, do not buy the car. When a legal import exists, the duty/excise/PAL/VAT stack is very high — confirm Sri Lanka Customs.
