Hard 8-year KS 1515 gate — 2019+ first registration for 2026 arrivals, QISJ and IDF before the vessel leaves.

Kenya is a strict RHD market. KEBS KS 1515 bans passenger cars more than 8 years from first registration. For 2026 arrivals, first registration must be 2019 or later, and manufacture year must be within one year of first registration. Non-compliant cars are rejected at the importer’s cost.

KMC JAPAN will not load a Kenya unit without QISJ Certificate of Roadworthiness and an IDF. KRA often values on CRSP, not the auction hammer.
