Japanese auction sheet translation and buyer checks
A Japanese auction sheet, export certificate, and yard photo set are written for people inside Japan. If you are buying from overseas, the grade, the handwritten inspector notes, and the export papers are the parts that decide whether the car is worth the bid. KMC JAPAN reads those documents in English and sends the report to your email.
Avoid Hidden Auction Pitfalls
Japanese auction sheets contain shorthand remarks about repaired chassis, odometer rollbacks, rust levels, and mechanical defects that free translators miss.
How to order
You do not need an account. Choose the check, send the chassis number or upload the scan, and pay in US dollars. Our desk in Ogori, Fukuoka prepares the report. These checks explain the paperwork and the car as it stands. They are a reading of the documents, prepared before you bid or before the car ships.
1. Choose the check
Use the Bid Pack before you bid. Use the Ship Pack when the car is about to leave Japan. Or order one document on its own.
2. Send the chassis or the scan
A chassis number looks like NZE141-6048720. A sheet or export certificate can be a photo or a PDF.
3. Pay and wait for email
PayPal, card, or bank transfer. We email the finished English report to the address on the order.
Choose a pack
Select a comprehensive pack designed for either your pre-bidding due diligence or final export shipping clearance.

Japanese auction sheets are notoriously difficult to read, with handwritten Japanese kanji and specialized abbreviations. We decode every section with complete clarity:
Overall Grade & Evaluation
E.g., Grade 4.5 (Superior condition), Interior Grade B, Exterior Grade B. Verification of genuine mileage vs. replaced meters.
Decoded Inspector Remarks (セールスポイント & 検査員報告)
We transcribe and translate handwritten Japanese: "Smart key x2, push start, seat heater, slight bolster wear on driver seat, small stone chip on windshield (passed inspection), underside clean, no smoker smell."
Vehicle Diagram Defect Mapping
A1 (light scratch), U1 (minor pin dent), W2 (repaired wave pattern), XX (replaced panel). We tell you exactly where they are and whether they matter.
NZE141-6048720- Push start, smart key present, alloy wheels.
- Driver seat minor wear on right bolster.
- Front bumper has minor stone chip (A1) touched up.
- Undercarriage in dry condition, no rust detected.
- All electricals & air conditioning tested working.

What the words mean
Auction sheet.
The Japanese inspection form for a car offered at auction. It shows the grade, mileage, colour, equipment, and the inspector’s handwritten notes about repairs, rust, and parts that were not tested. The chassis number on that form is labelled 車台番号.
Export certificate.
The Japanese deregistration paper, often called 輸出抹消. Many destination customs offices ask for an English version before they clear the car.
True Report.
Our chassis history lookup. It lists past Japanese auction appearances. The Bid Pack includes that lookup and adds the English reading of the sheet. You can also search a chassis on its own.
Landed cost.
The amount you should plan for when the car reaches your port: the Japan price, ocean freight, and a written estimate of duty and clearing. For a freight-only figure, use the shipping calculator.
