Select a vehicle
Review make, year, and remaining shaken on our inventory. Enquire with the SKU of the vehicle you wish to purchase.

Inspection or enquiry
Inspect the vehicle at our Ogori yard, or request photographs and registration details.

Quotation and contract
We issue a quotation for the vehicle and explain domestic procedures. Confirm tax amounts via official MLIT services or the transport bureau.

Documents and registration
We handle 名義変更 for KMC stock and for private sales. We also advise on 車庫証明, including where to apply and which documents are required.

Ownership transfer (名義変更)
We handle the procedure for vehicles purchased from KMC, vehicles purchased from another party, and vehicles sold to a friend or other buyer.

Parking certificate (車庫証明)
Apply at the police station covering the vehicle’s place of use. Proof of parking rights is required.

Compulsory insurance (自賠責)
Typically renewed together with shaken. Please confirm the expiry date.
4
Motor vehicle weight tax (重量税)
Ordinarily paid at the next shaken. Confirm the amount via the official MLIT lookup.

Remaining shaken
Confirm the expiry on the registration certificate. Vehicles with short remaining inspection include statutory costs in the quotation.

Recall check
Confirm the chassis number against manufacturer and MLIT recall information.
