Malaysia is RHD. Used vehicle imports need an Approved Permit (AP) from the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry. Open commercial import of ordinary used Japan cars for general public resale is not available. Returning experts / disabled / heritage schemes exist with conditions. JPJ inspection follows a legal import.
